The rose is a symbol of love and beauty and rose oil is one of the most valuable therapeutic perfumes. Rose Oil is heart (middle) note essential oil and brings out the best in other notes. Being one of the most rare oils, the rose oil is famous for its aphrodisiac and uplifting properties. It forms a perfect blend with, jasmine, sandalwood, neroli, ylang-ylang, chamomile and geranium. Blending rose oil and rose absolute brings out a true Rosa Damascena bliss.
Perhaps no flower aroma has been more recognized and used in perfumery as that of a rose. It has been used for centuries as a luxury and a costly perfume. Because of its multilayered complex fragrance, and strong therapeutic properties, rose oil is a great centerpiece to any personal perfume. Rose oil will add natural sweet warmth; dept and balance to flower blends and it will add richness to any perfume. It blends well with jasmine, neroli, sandalwood, ylang-ylang, chamomile and geranium.
Perfumery tip
Making an essential oil perfume at home is easy. Such blends are captivating and carry the therapeutic benefits of flowers as opposed to synthetic commercial perfumes. A simple rose perfume would contain 95% alcohol or carrier oil and 5% rose essential oil.
